President's Letter
A couple of decades ago, I fell in love with travel to warm Latin countries during an all-inclusive vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my family. The sun, people, sights, food and drink touched me deeply and the all-inclusive concept made for a great family time for both me and my wife while traveling with young kids. Since then we have taken dozens more family vacations in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and elsewhere, as well as taken a sabbatical to live for a year in Central Mexico and taken other vacations as well.
We love all-inclusive packages vacations and that was the way we started in Mexico. However, as one gets more mature in traveling and has the resources and time at their disposal, you often want to spend more time in a chosen place. Therefore, SolAmigo is developing condos and small casas for “snowbirds” and others who wish to live at least a large part of their life in a country such as Mexico. We have initially chosen Mazatlan, Mexico based on the following criteria; travel time and accessibility, vibrant Mexican community, great waterfront and beaches, stable national government, low crime, decent healthcare, great economic value and low living costs.
SolAmigo is developing, large Haciendas, to be owned by members who are not ready for part year living in another country. These will be structured both for investment purposes and also to have a great vacation in your own place, for the weeks you are able to live abroad. These Haciendas are for those who love dining and socializing and appreciate culture.
We are doing SolAmigo Corp. because of our love for travel and the warm Latin country experience. Everything we develop, from advice websites to condo and vacation resorts, is something we would have used at a point in our life and something we can recommend to relatives and friends.
