A. As opposed to a beach front condo or hotel with a business centre, Hacienda SolAmigo is totally dedicated to workations. No one will look strangely at you while you toil away, all residents understand what you are there for and the shared office space offers services with redundant internet access and VOIP phones and courier services that make it work.

A. Mazatlan is just 4 hours flying time from Vancouver and therefore the closest City in the tropics to reduce travel time. Mazatlan's Centro Historico is not just a beach town but a real Mexican town with a rich cultural heritage.

A workation is not about "veging" but stimulating the senses with a total change of surroundings and culture, great weather, walking around the town and enjoying good food and dining.

Centro Historico Mazatlan has dozens of restaurants in just a ten minute walk plus cultural facilities such as a opera house, art museums, craft stores and of course the stunning colonial style architecture.

And of course we are staffed to endure that we can answer any questions you have on where to go and what to do.

A. You must be one of the following 4 types of consumers and also all persons staying at Hacienda SolAmigo and residents as well as guests must must be over 17 years of age and no pets. (Should you have pets or kids or want a larger oceanfront place we offer units at vueCentro Historico; which is a ten minute walk to use the shared office spaces at Hacienda SolAmigo.).

The reason that we have chosen ownership over a guest method is twofold:

1. Ownership gives a sense of community to Centro Histoico Mazatlan and also to Haceinda SolAmigo. When people own it is their pllace, fellow guests are now close neighbors and the people they meet very day are fellow Mazatlecos. This second home atmosphere from ownerships is what we wish to create.

2. The type of people we wish as our neighbors realize ownership is a good long term investment and with ownership tend to use it more.

A. No, basically Hacienda SolAmigo operates when the climate in Mazatlan is most suitable for enjoyment of Centro Historico and it is comfortable to walk around the town and eat outside without airconditioning. This would allow each unit owner 3 weeks usage from the first week of November to the mid June. Your 3 weeks would be on a requested allocation basis assigned by a rotating priority number,  twice per season.
